How to link your Discord
Connect your Discord account to your Aptive account, step by step.
Linking Discord ties it to the Roblox account you play with, under one Aptive account.
If you don't have an Aptive account yet
- Go to Create an account.
- Choose Sign up with Roblox and approve the request on Roblox.
- You land on your account page, signed in.
You can also start with Sign up with Discord and link Roblox afterwards the same way.
Link Discord
- Open your account page. If you're signed out, sign in first.
- Under Connected accounts, press Connect next to Discord.
- Discord asks you to authorize Aptive. Press Authorize.
- You're sent back to your account page, and Discord now shows as connected.
From then on you can sign in with either Roblox or Discord.
What Aptive gets from Discord
Aptive asks Discord for your username, avatar and email address (Discord's identify and email
permissions). It can't read your messages or servers, and it never posts anything as you.
Problems
- "That account is already linked to another Aptive account." That Discord account belongs to a different Aptive account. Sign in with it, disconnect Discord there, then try again.
- Unlinking. Press Disconnect next to Discord. You can only do that while Roblox is still linked, since your account needs at least one way to sign in.
