This policy explains what aptive.games stores when you use it, why, and how to remove it. Aptive makes games on Roblox, and aptive.games is operated by [legal name], [country].
The short version
- You sign in with Roblox or Discord. We never see or store a password.
- We keep the least we need to run your account: your Roblox and Discord IDs, names, avatars, and your sign-in sessions.
- There are no ads, analytics or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your information for marketing.
- You can delete your account yourself at any time from the account page.
What we collect
When you create an account with Roblox
Roblox shares your Roblox user ID, username and display name, and the address of your avatar picture. Roblox does not share your email address with us. We also store the access tokens Roblox issues, so the account page can show which Roblox account is linked.
When you sign in or link with Discord
Discord shares your Discord user ID, username, avatar and email address. If you create your account with Discord, that email is saved as your account's email. If you link Discord to an account you already have, the email is only checked during linking and is not saved to your profile. We store the tokens Discord issues, for the same reason as with Roblox.
When you're signed in
Each sign-in creates a session that records your IP address and your browser's user agent (the name and version your browser reports). A session ends when you sign out, or after about a week without visiting.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in, plus short-lived cookies that protect a sign-in while it's in progress. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
Our games
Our Roblox games tell this site how many players are on each server, so it can show live player counts. That report is just numbers and contains nothing about individual players. What happens inside our games on Roblox is also covered by Roblox's Privacy Policy.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep you signed in.
- To show which Roblox and Discord accounts are linked on your account page.
- To protect the site, for example by limiting how often one IP address can try to sign in.
Who else is involved
We don't sell your information. A few services handle it on our behalf:
- Cloudflare runs our domain and network connection, and sees the IP address of every visit.
- Hetzner hosts our server in the United States (Ashburn, Virginia), where the account database is stored.
- Roblox and Discord take part in a sign-in when you choose them, under their own privacy policies.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your account information stays until you delete your account. Delete it from the account page: we remove your account, your linked Roblox and Discord sign-ins and all your sessions from our database right away. You can also unlink Roblox or Discord on its own, as long as one sign-in stays linked.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. Most of this you can do from the account page. For anything else, contact us below.
Children
Many Roblox players are young. We only collect what's described above, and Roblox does not share email addresses with us. If you're under 13, or under the age of digital consent where you live, please ask a parent or guardian before creating an account. If you're a parent and believe your child gave us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects what we collect or how we use it, we'll also announce it on our Discord server.
